Sunday 29th of June the feast of St Peter and Paul saw our departing priest in charge bring a bicycle into the church. Explaining that the wheels of the bike represented the driving force of the bike making it go forward so were Peter and Paul the wheels of the church. The triangular bike frame represented the Holy Trinity. However I cannot now remember what the bicycle bell represented ! Ting-a-ling.
The Church was full for the Combined Benefice Service which was followed by a presentation and commemoration ceremony in the Domus. Beaulieu Bubbly flowed and a trad jazz band played and tributes were given. A book of signatures and good wishes was collected .We wish Ryc and Pauline good luck and health in retirement. God Speed to you both
