A sculpture exhibition featuring 350 works from international and national sculptors will be showcased in Palace House, its gardens and surrounding parkland from 25th May - 14th July.

New to Beaulieu for summer 2019, this unique collection features works by over 60 renowned sculptors, including Heather Jansch, Tom Hiscocks, Richard Cresswell, Jilly Sutton, Nicola Godden and Diane Maclean.

Each piece has been carefully selected to take full advantage of their unique backdrop; from the atmospheric ruins of Beaulieu Abbey to the serene beauty of the Victorian Flower Garden and the intimate setting of Palace House.

Ranging from figurative to abstract, and covering a diverse range of mediums, the exhibition provides something to suit all tastes.

All sculptures are for sale, with prices starting from £25 and ranging to £120,000. A catalogue of all the exhibition sculptures can be purchased on arrival at Beaulieu.

The exhibition guide provides information and prices. Your piece will be available to collect on designated collection days after the exhibition.

Tribute to the horse

Featuring a full-size bronze horse by world-renowned contemporary sculptor Heather Jansch, the theme of this special display was chosen to celebrate Beaulieu's setting in the heart of the New Forest.

Spitfire by Richard Cresswell outside Palace House for Sculpture at Beaulieu


Standing at 11ft high, Richard Cresswell's kinetic stainless steel Spitfire can be seen turning in the wind.

Jilly Sutton's Harle-Queen in Beaulieu Abbey for Sculpture at Beaulieu


Jilly Sutton's striking, hollowed out heads are carved from a single piece of wood and mounted on slate.

Icarus Rising by Nicola Godden in Beaulieu Abbey for Sculpture at Beaulieu

Icarus Rising

A full-size bronze Icarus figure by Nicola Godden, whose work graced the Olympic Village in London.

Guy by Joy and John Cox. Sculpture at Beaulieu.


This bronze gorilla by Joy and John Cox was popular with athletes in the Olympic Park. Joy also completed the National Motor Museum's bronze of Edward, Lord Montagu for her husband John.

Diablo by Diane Maclean at Sculpture at Beaulieu


Diane Maclean's 35ft stainless steel creation, Diablo, appears purple because of oxidisation and the way it transmits light from its surface.
