The Beaulieu Estate continues to work closely with Beaulieu Parish Council regarding the issues concerning car parking in the village. Trials are being carried out on restrictions to parking in part of the High Street, with the aim of providing short-term parking for shoppers. Discussions with the parish council, New Forest District Council and the Highways Authority are ongoing in respect of any other ideas to help with the parking situation. Tentative plans are being drawn up for a possible private car park in part of Haywards Meadow, to take pressure off the High Street. If eventually approved and funded, this would be strictly for the use of traders and residents.
