The Parish Council have been fortunate to receive a grant from the Beaulieu Common Good Trust which is going to enable us to refurbish the two flagstaffs in the Twinning Garden and also to purchase new flags that can be used on civic occasions. We feel that it would be fitting for the village flags to be flown on days such as Remembrance Sunday and during our twinning events. Earlier this year the Twinning Garden was replanted and we hope you will agree looked magnificent all summer. We are grateful to Mark Young who has now taken on the maintenance of the Twinning Garden and the village playground.  Our French visitors were especially pleased to hear that the grapes off the vines that they presented us with a number of years ago were used to help decorate the Abbey Church for harvest festival.
